Overview

theaisay.com is a daily question site. We ask you one question per day and show you how four AI models answered alongside the crowd. We take a minimal approach to data: we do not create accounts, we do not collect names or email addresses, and we do not sell anything.

What We Collect

Vote cookie. When you vote, we set a cookie in your browser to record that your device has already voted on today's question. The cookie contains an HMAC-signed token — it encodes only a question ID and a timestamp. It contains no name, email address, IP address, or any other personally identifiable information. The cookie expires after 30 days.

Analytics. We use PostHog to measure page views and vote interactions in aggregate. PostHog may collect your IP address and basic browser information as part of standard analytics. We use this data only to understand how the site is used in aggregate — for example, how many people voted today. We do not build individual profiles. You can learn about PostHog's data practices at posthog.com/privacy.

No Accounts

We do not offer accounts, login, or registration. Nothing you do on this site is associated with a persistent identity on our side.

Sharing to X (Twitter)

If you choose to share your result to X, we redirect you to X's own share dialog using a standard URL. We do not access your X account, store your X credentials, or request any OAuth permissions. The interaction is entirely between you and X.

Data Retention

Vote totals are stored aggregated in our database — we count votes per option, not per visitor. There is no record of which device cast which vote beyond what your browser's cookie encodes locally.

Third-Party Services

We use Cloudflare to serve this site. Cloudflare may process request metadata such as IP addresses as part of its infrastructure. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.

Your Rights

Because we do not collect personal data tied to your identity, there is no profile to access, correct, or delete. If you have a concern, you can clear your browser cookies to remove your local vote token at any time.

Changes

We may update this policy as the site evolves. The date at the top of this page reflects when it was last revised.
